Give a camera to your father and he'll be happy!

Hello,

My father every early morning is doing jogging by the lake. There are many beautiful moments there like: sunrise, lake/water/sky, trees, birds, all those early colors..

About half a year ago I had idea before to give him his old Canon sure shot supreme and to photograph while jogging.

Yesterday my father asked me to give him a camera, because he was seeing many beautiful scenes in that everyday walks but when he wanted to photograph them - he wished to have a camera. I also told him several composition tips btw.

This morning I checked his camera and - He shot the whole roll for less than a hour!
He came to me very happy and excited, telling me: " I didn't know that it would be so beautiful, I forgot about the time, the problems, the job, everything.. i even shot the whole roll. I should doing this everyday! ".

I was very glad seeing my father going happy and excited to work. He didn't stooped telling me about it while we was driving 🙂

We even came to work a little later 🙂

I just left the roll to be developed and tomorrow I will get the photos. Also I bought him a Fujicolor roll because makes the water, sky and grass much stronger and appealing.

In the end, the 'concept' here is not about the photographs that he would make or whether they will mean something or not, or whether they will be good or bad - it is not important, but about the process of photographing, seeing, enjoying the nature and relaxing. Photography helps here seeing and receiving nature deeper.
