The price of a new Bessa T ($229) is just to good not to think about it. I've been saving up for a CL but what do you think. I would love to hear from some Bessa T owners.
Thanks

Reason number one is the baselength and rangefinder accuracy.
Flipside is the lack of in-camera viewfinder. But separate viewfinders can be truly excellent, but they are separate. You must like that.
The thing I really like about the Bessa T that makes its a great camera on the street is that you can pre-focus and set the exposure without ever lifting the camera to your eye. I wish more rangefinders had external lights for the metering.
Besides the RF that Rob already mentioned, the Bessa-T for me has a couple of other attractions as well: a metal shutter that's accurate, and that you won't burn holes in, easy loading, and a very very very good exposure meter. You can read more about why the exposure meter is so nifty here: http://www.cameraquest.com/voigtbmeter.htm
There's only one downside to the metal shutter, and that is that it's louder than a cloth shutter.
