Give me some advice (leica m8)

I use an M8.2 and a D700.
For your described usage, I'd probably go with the M8. While I do find the D700 to be a bit more reliable, it's certainly not small. And it doesn't exactly have a quiet shutter either.
 
i have found that using a luigi case significantly dampens the shutter sound of the M8. it makes it lower in tone and much less apparent.

And now I read a review from Iraq (the one that really trashed the m8....) hmmm it made me think. But still i'll probably stay with my current decision.
Btw, does it support SDHC cards now?
