Just developed the very first roll out of to me new Yashica GSN. Never used rangefinders because my PJ professor discouraged them all those years ago. Can't believe that it took me 15 years to try one... these are test shots from Battery, a part of St. John's, Newfoundland. The area was battered by a storm this winter and there is still a lot of damage visible. My favourite part of town.
This is my first time shooting color film in my GSN. I spent a long time playing with curves and levels because the scan comes out... well, not as the film actually is. Any help?
Thanks! I use a flatbed with 35mm/slide attachment (a flimsy piece of plastic that lays on the bed). The scanner is an Epson 2400 -the one i got from the RFF member gdi. I like it because, unlike other scanners I have used, it gives the options of b&w/color and an input for dpi (not a "150 or 300" option like some others.) Also, it has ended up cheaper and more workable than using a CVS scanned cd every time I develop! Highly recommended.
