Yashica 35 GT, Agfa colour 200.

I had not owned the camera for 24 hours yet. Just trying the camera out, so not really concentrating!

RF focusing is difficult when you are starting out.

This was one of the first photos off the 2nd roll.

First roll ruined as I had not realised it was 36 exposure film that I had pulled out of a pile of 24 exposure boxes in the shop. I got to 30 photos and assumed the film was not winding on. Removed the back of the camera to see the tightly wound roll that I had just ruined!

Not a great photo, but I like the colours!

I had many more shots, but my computer crashed and I lost a bunch of them.

First off, greetings everyone as this is my first post.

I received my new Lynx 14E last week. In the test roll I shot, all the photos(80%) turned out nicely. However, in the middle of the film, 3 consecutive shots have a pattern of a problem. The last two photos show this pattern.

Is this a light leak or a development error? I shot with the half-case, but I know the seals are not in the best of condition.

pressure plate scratching the film?

Hmm never thought about that. What could I do to prevent it though? If light seals were better in place, would they sort of relieve pressure a bit (when i squeeze back door involuntarily while steadying in an awkward position maybe)?

The pressure plate looks allright. When there's no film inside, the plate can move horizontally slightly. Is this normal?

More likely a problem with the lab.

Pressure plate scratched are usually going to occur through the entire roll as fine lines. Try another roll and a different lab.
Inspect the plate of course before loading film.
If it is perfectly smooth it's probably not the issue.
Nice images btw :)
