Glass Key Photo in SF robbed last night...

Not sure how many folks are aware of this super cool little analog camera shop on Haight St. in San Fran called Glass Key Photo but it is run by very knowledgeable and super nice folks.

Well, anyway, according to a recent post on their Facebook page, they were broken into and robbed last night, might need some assistance if not fully insured.

I hadn't heard of them before but I hope they were insured and can continue. It's sad to hear when a small business has been burglarized and might have trouble as a consequence.

I've put them in my address book for the next time I'm in The City so I remember to stop in for a visit. 🙂

Heading to the bay area next week. Will drop by to get some film from them.

From what I can gather thus far, they got cleaned out pretty good on cameras but there is still some LF stuff left and I am not sure the film, paper and chemistry even got touched.

The next few days ought to reveal how bad the losses are.

Saw it in a photo group page in FB... appalling and sad... I don't think I visited them when I was there but I'll try if I return. I hope they were insured...
