Talking great concerts .... I went to a 2002 or maybe 2003 concert of the white stripes in cincinatti, this must of been one of the greatest concerts I have ever been to.
Ofcourse the best is the 197x (can't remember) Davis Bowie concert at the santa Monica Civic auditorium, I think it was the spiders from mars tour ... but again can't remember ... but it was something else

Ah, she is my favorite Radcliffe-educated female slide guitar-playing redhead. An American treasure. Have numerous recordings but never have seen her in person. Her recording of "Angel From Montgomery" sung with the song's writer John Prine (another legend) at the Steve Goodman Memorial concert is one of my favorite songs ever. Ever.

I could never have fallen asleep when I saw her in the early '90's
at The Ritz Theater - formerly the (in)famous Studio 54 disco-
there were no seats! That was an unpleasant surprise.
But the show was was great. Richard Thompson opened. 🙂

Someone once gave us tickets to see Sting at Madison Square Garden.
I fell asleep at that one, for sure...

Seats are sooooo boring! Give me a jam packed room with a band playing on the floor (no stage) and everyone singing along while getting everyone's sweat on everyone else. 🙂
