It Is What It Is
Just a quick note about my Bessa R . This is, next to my Canon P, one of my favorites. Today I have a canon 1:1.8 w a round S&W hood. A nice combo to be sure but a Jupiter 3 is normally my user for this camera. The only trouble this little gems ever given me is the meter didn't work for a long while because I put the battery in backwards. All that and it has good looks too!!!

I love my Bessa R. Like you Robin, this is with my J-3. I had to re shim it & screw the rear glass closer to the film plane. It's as sharp as my feeble eyesight will allow it to be. Once in a while I get lucky.
