I got my RD1 upgraded firmware (RD1s) a month ago at $1200 with 4 batteries and recently CLA'd by Steve Choi with receipt. It's performing well so far though I ordered new replacement batteries (4) for peace of mind.

About a month ago, I paid ~$1400 for a KEH LN- RD-1 from KEH, that includes a 60 day warranty .... The screen died within that time period, and they replace the camera with the same type from stock. It included inner box, outer box, CD, strap, original battery that holds a charge, charger.
I would guess, the premium was around $200 to buy from them.
In my case, well worth the money. Maybe if you bought here, and the screen quickly died, the seller would make good. KEH was no questions asked.

My R-D1 in very good, but original and non serviced condition - upgraded firmware set me back around $2200, but that included four CV lenses, the 21/4, 28/1.9, 35/1.4 and 50/2.5.
