Gonna Be Selling Soon

I've got a tabbed black Summicron that I'm going to be selling along with a Canon 50mm f1.2 (screw mount) and potentially a collapsible Summicron as well.

I will be, hopefully, taking photos of said lenses this evening and posting in the appropriate classified ads area.

I've been semi-active here and hope to be coming back here regularly after my personal concerns are taken care of 🙂

I wonder if these lenses are still even "popular" though.. hmmmm

Hurry back when you can. You have been missed. I think Leica glass will always be "popular" here. 🙂 As to the Canon, the one I sold a month or 2 ago went in quite short order.

I've been trying to read here and there.. and I have to still rifle through this months issue of LensWork.. I really have to put some film back into these cameras though - and develop the film I have sitting in the fridge... I realized I have a lot of 50mm lenses and regardless of what FrankS says 😉 I think I've got a few too many 🙂

Seriously Dave, there must be something else other than "just too many 50s". I hope all gets sorted out. The only one I don't have from the ones you mentioned is the collapsible 'cron. Hmmm...

I only have three 50mms and I feel positively naked. But then I'm a newbie to the RFf . I'll be looking too.

Nah, all a person _needs_ is two 50s - a double guass based one (Canon 50/1.8 or Summ - ar/itar/icron as examples) and a good Sonnar or Tessar to cover the asymetrical look. Between them you'll have 99% of the real differences covered... all the rest are nice tasting frosting... 🙂
