interesting?
interesting?
It's liable to go as a BIN, at that price. I'm not certain, but I think the seller is a Canon collector. I seem to remember that nickname buying things I was looking at... Anyway, looks/sounds like a nice lens.

Yeaoh congrats Brian !!!
I decide not to visit the RFF in some hours and look what happens, a Canon 35/2 and a 35/1.8 are both gone !
<My wallet secretly thanks both buyers

Finally. I thought this would last mere minutes. I suppose a more dramatic title for the thread would have helped.
Oscar, do I have a deal for you....

congrats
congrats
Congratulations and felicitations on the new acquisition. As you know, it was the basis for the later 35/2 design. I thought about it for a few minuites, and decided that I'm really broke
Glad to see that it found a home that will appreciate it, and use it, to boot. And acquired at an advantageous price, too.

i think that's the same guy i bought the 135 lens from today. both pretty good bin prices.
good on you brian, it's a nice lens. i quite like it. it's more comfortable than the 35/2 to use (infinity lock) and just a touch bigger than the 2.8 so a tad easier to handle as well.
photo wise it has less contrast than i would have thought and falls between the 2 and 2.8.

Give in, it is only a matter of time, why live without until then?
