Thanks David. He used the first one in his exhibit here in Chicago in 2015.

it so bad the loss of a friend, I feel sorry for you and his family. Thanks for sharing his work, su full of humanity. For sure he was able to make a good connection with his subjects. RIP

Thanks for the link to his work. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing his photos. And your portraits are a fitting tribute as well.

Thanks for the link to his work, an encouraging reinforcement of fundamentals in straightforward environmental portraiture. Your street portraits of him are superb and poignant—a reminder to work, for the long night is coming to each and all.

Hi, Belated condolences on the loss of your friend. His photography is very special. I work at Chicago Public Library Special Collections, where we have a collection of Mr. Gremp's photographs. I'm hoping to be put in touch with his next of kin so that we may understand their wishes as far as copyright is concerned. Researchers sometimes request reproductions of the images, and we want to do what is right by the family's wishes. Please let me know if you're willing to chat offline or through email to figure this out.
thanks,
Johanna Russ
