good, general purpose light meter

Gossen Luna-Pro SBC (perhaps better known as the Profisix) is extremely accurate, fast to use, well made and doesn't rely on LCD display. The 9V battery lasts for years. I dropped mine twice on sheer rock from 4 ft and it just keeps working as new.

Yes, a few months ago I passed by Aperture Trading in Banawe, QC they had it in stock. Might be available in their Makati branch. Google their website for pricing. In case you did not know the Sekonic L208 "Twinmate" and L308S are made in the Philippines. If I didn't own a Luna-Pro F, I'll get a 308S to support our economy and industry 🙂

Hope this helps!

I didnt know that! thanks for the info! I think im getting this one!

As others have said the Twinmate is a super little meter as well.
I guess I don't agree about the Twin-Mate. I used to own one, and while it worked fine I was not inspired by the construction quality. It seemed a bit flimsy to me.

I also don't understand the big fuss made about the Voigtlander shoe mounted meters. They work well, look good, are well-made and all of that, but they strike me as way overpriced, probably due to complete lack of competition. They also lack an incident mode. The Canon shoe mounted meters, when they are found in working condition with an incident diffuser, are camera meters I like - albeit they are designed for Canon rangefinders. However one can use them handheld like the Voigtlander or Leica camera-mount meters.
