Reminds me of Pop/Modern Photography "thread"
This whole sad affair reminds me of a letter-to-the-editor thread (run over several months) that ran in either Popular or Modern Photography back in the 70's-80's. The gist: a photographer was doing a wedding and saw some family members (uncles, etc) taking photos. He wrote an angry letter to the mag referring to them as parasitic "lice". The letter was published and in the next 2-3 issues the mag published some scathing replies, like "when I see Uncle Joe taking snaps and he runs out of film, I give him some of mine." after a few issues the editors had to drop the anchor and plead for "no more letters" - several hundred+ letters torching the wedding photog, little or nothing in defense.
My advice: elope and have a friend with a Kodak Brownie or Instamatic - other than that, go with a real wedding photographer, like, mmmm, Tang? -- still shooting film only, alfredian
