Dropped my Hexanon 50mm M on the ground a couple of weeks ago. One of the mounts is bent. Makes it hard to put on the camera.

The local repair people wouldn't deal with it. Will anyone?

Thanks.

usa. needs to be able to take the back mount apart probably to straighten it up.

The lens still works, I'm just afraid it might not be good for the mount.

A sony service center in germany has all the konica parts now, some google searching may reveal a thread I found once on photo.net or something that had a link to a shop who knew how to get service done through the german sony place.
On the sony web site there is a form to fill out about it too, which may help.
If you can obtain the mount, it's not hard to change yourself.

I'd ask more than one repair place, I'd think any tech would try to bend the ear back as long as you agreed not to kill them if the ear snapped off entirely.

Try Greg Weber @ webercamera.com He is the Konica repair personfor the US.
