I am displaying eight of my photographic prints at CJ’s Café in Bronte for the month of September.

I invite you to attend the opening night social from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday September 4, 2007.

CJ’s Café in Bronte is located at 2416 Lakeshore Rd. West Oakville, Ontario. Tel: 905-465-0411. Travelling west from Toronto, exit the QEW at Bronte Rd and go South to Lakeshore Rd, then turn east. CJ’s is just a half block east on the South side of the street and parking is in back.

See you there

Bill

Congratulations on your first show. I hope you will enjoy the Best of Luck.

Have you posted any of the photographs here or elsewhere on the net?
Are they part of an ongoing series or other project that you have been working on and are any of the pieces from your rangefinder?

Let us know if you make any sales:)

Hello Bill,

This is very timely. I've been wondering how I could get my first exhibition going. What questions do you ask galleries, cafes, etc about setting up a show?

Bill, one of fellow Olympus fans in flickr!
you rock!

I wish I can go to the show and give you a shake hand :)

It's a bit of a drive from Seattle....best of luck and I hope this is the first of many more.

Congrats!

I goofed on my blog address
The correct link is http://funwithcameras.blogspot.com , no bible site here.

I lucked in on getting this shared show. A friend of mine CJ Martin owns a cafe in the west end of Oakville, she hangs art and photography showcasing local talent.

So for those interested in showing their own work is build relationships with your local arts council, CJ worked for the Oakville Arts Council before going into the Coffee House business.

Congrats on the show - hope it goes well. I had my first last year and it was equal parts excitement and fear. A small suggestion - it would be nice if you had a set of flickr pictures that had what you're displaying at the show so we could get a feel for it virtually.

Cheers,
-Amit
