Good slow glass needed

I've got a wedding coming up and I need another lens to go with one of my m3 bodies that would help me handle a bright sunny day.

Leaning towards the 40mm Cron, but I was curious what else you might advise. 50 Elmar? Any third party glass?

I'm doing a walk through this afternoon to get a lay of the land. Wedding is on a dock at 12noon so I'm geographically limited in aspects of using fill flash.

I get nervous when stopping down fast glass, though I guess I will have to run a few rolls to see how my Lux's love f11.

You don't need "slow" glass. Get ND filters for the lenses you already know and love and you will be all set.
