Good user bodies getting harder to get?

You two need a CL to be small and use those lenses...

The one camera that I would like to come across is a Petri Color 35 for pocketable. A cheap one would be a Minolta Hi-Matic C.

The M4-2 will run a lot less than the original M4 and other Leica bodies. Google the web, supposedly the first batch had problems and the bad reputation stuck. There are hints out there about what SN's to avoid. They seem to go for about the same as a user M2, and I have seen them for less.

My Petri Color 35 has a slight wobble to the lens barrel when it's extended. I haven't been able to ascertain if that is normal or if there is a loose screw somewhere. Itis quite worrisome since a little wobble on a little camera is actually quite a bit of movement.

Merciful, that's a beautiful shot! Just enough light from the left to outline her hand and arm, and the glass... excellent.

I found it irritating for afew days, but got used to it pretty rapidly thereafter.

Sample, at ISO 3200.

beautiful......I looked at your gallery - awesome shots. Did you use one cam for all the shots? If yes, which one was it?

Thanks, guys.

Red, I used and M3 or M6 for the majority of those shots, but there're a few Holga, a few Canonet, and even a D30 shot in the bunch.

Lens wobble on some of the Japanese rangefinders is quite normal. Even when new, or barely used. However, it has no affect on the resulting images.

According to many posts I've read, in KEH's bargain is still a very nice camera...

I would definitely check out KEH. Call them and ask them what they have. (Their website doesn't show everything, I discovered.) I just bought my "bargain" M4 from them. By most rating standards, it's a "near mint!" Beautiful, and the price WAS bargain! I've had the same experience with other items I've bought from them.

Yes its the bargain rated stuff there that gets the good feedback. I have read though that stuff rated higher has not been quite so stellar.
