I must have a sickness. I was in the goodwill again today. It's like withdrawal I get the shakes I might miss something. oh well todays finds GSN (needs a RF window and has a dented lens barrel, but hey it works) maybe repair or just keep it for parts. A Minolta X-7A SLR, 50mm f1.7, Image 70-200mm zoom, Zoom and tilt flash, bags, manual and filters. I think we need another sticky for Garage Sale / Yard Sale / Goodwill / Value Village finds. Well it was just a thought.

Yes indeed!
Picked a nice little table top tripod for$1.50 just last week.
(as well as a Tupperware cake carrier and a Henkels 8"chief's knife. OT I know, but the thrill...)

I've taken to touring yard sales on my bicycle. Keeps me from buying realy big things. Or at least slows me down to reconsider...

In the past I have picked up the following from my local DAV:

Minolta Srt 202
Minolta V2 rangefinder
Olympus Pen EES-2
Canon AT-1
Regula L

At a local junk store I've scavenged an old Leitz Leicina, a Minox right angle finder, a Leica M3 double stroke instruction manual, and a Prontor cable release (the nicest cable release I've ever seen in my life, IMO).

You might check my recent post in the Yashica section ...

What I didn't mention was the Canon AE-1 Program body I found there Wednesday. $5. But looking like hell. However, there are indications it might be functional. Time will tell ...

OT story--My son and I both bid one time "against" each w/ another unwitting guy in an in-store Goodwill auction for a full-length mink coat for daughter-in-law. I came in (as a would-be "high roller") to the bidding at the end to drive off the other guy. I worked--my son got it for $100. It appraised at $4,000.
