Gordon Parks at Art Institute of Chicago

Just a note to share with you Midwesterners that Gordon Parks has a show that pairs his work with the writings for Ralph Ellison. It's based on the Harlem project they did together for Life magazine.

The Aaron Siskind show is also still running. Either show is worth a visit, but together the make for an especially great afternoon of photography.

Definitely going to check out the Parks exhibit and yes the Siskind exhibit is really good. Thanks for the heads up.
