Its a Nikon FM, and black! I got a great deal on it because the meter "was broken",
but actually the batteries were just in backwards!

i just sold my SLR the other day, it went towards large format, but there was a sweet compact camera i nearly bought with some of the leftover money.. i spent it on Lith film instead! whoops!

I got a brand new Nikon F80 & 50,f/1.8 Saturday just gone.
Put a roll of film in it and start walking towards the car when a bloke on a bicycle coming from behind grabs it out of my hand, starts accelerating then drops it and rides off down the road. I just stood there wondering what the f*** kind of dream I was in.
So, after approximately 45 minutes in my possession my new camera had a bent strap lug and nice scratches... 🙁
I'm cursed.
But the F80 has already proven to be a tough bugger and I need to start using a wrist-strap.

Next you'll be looking for a nice MD-12 to mount on it ;-) My MD never leaves my FM2n. Still big and loud compared to the RF's

FM, Righteous.
I went with a Canon F1 since I had an A1 and some FD lenses. There is nothing like a FF, all glass pentaprism SLR made of metal.
