oh so nice!

it is small and immediately reminds me of my old canon 35/2.8...and it makes the 'package' seem smaller too. (that would be the zi body plus lens)

i look forward to shooting some photos. tomorrow the 'street performers festival' starts downtown, 10 days of street activity.

Can we see it on the camera, the specs say it's not much different to the f2, but it think the dimension include the rear element which goes quite a bit inside the mount...?

it feels great on the camera richard.

andrew, it IS quite a bit smaller then the 2.

size wise i have no regrets and i believe image quality is gonna be as good as the 2.
this could very well be the 35 i have been waiting for.

nice looking combo, congrats joe. i agree with the above, with the zm lenses, i found they were very flare resistant: you might find you rarely require a shade.

The old want vs need battle wages on, the no need side of me thanks you for this statement.

She is a cutie, get out and shoot. I am interested in seeing your results. I find a lot of your images to be pretty contrasty, you style I guess, and I would like to see how this lens produces within that style.

and i also wanted to thank tony from popflash for the great service and easy going communication on buying this lens.

as i said to him earlier today in an email, this lens has wonderful ergonomics and just feels good on the zi body.
i already know that it's sharp so that wasn't a concern.

i have found my one camera/one lens combo...

joe
