Got medium format?

The only MF I own is a Mamiya 7 w/ 80mm. Occasionally I find myself wanting a MF SLR, but I figure if I care enough to squint at some ground glass, I might as well pull out the Super Graphic and fire off a 4x5. :)

Pentax 645, very SLRish, and an Agfa Isolette III that can't find infinity focus. But it is gorgeous at ~3 meters...

For landscape I only use medium format (Pentax 67II and Linhof Studienkamera 70 with 6x7 Super-Rollex). 35mm rangefinder is for everything non-landscape.
 
I just got into MF (and RF for that matter).....

Right now I have a Lubitel 166b and a Yashica Mat 124g.
Have 40 rolls of film on stock so I gotta get out there and shoot some.......

Let's see -- Rapid-Omega 200 with 58mm, 90mm and 180mm lenses (great kit), Koni-Omega Rapid with 90mm lens (high mileage but shutter serviced, needs rangefinder tweaked back into shape a little), Mamiya C330S, primarily shooting with 55mm lens (first-rate), and a taped-up Holga.

I've promised myself a Bronica RF645 before year's end. Haven't wanted a camera that bad since I was having recurring dreams about Speed Graphics!

and a big humongo-Fuji GW670.

But I'm letting go of the Bronica, anyone wants a eye-level prism-equipped Bronica? It shoots like an ordinary SLR. Only bigger :).
 
Currently I'm using a Minolta Autocord, Richoflex VI, Sawyer's Mark IV, Iskra, and Diana.

I've a little Brownie Starmite II I'll give a go one day, but right now B&W 127 is too precious and is reserved for the Sawyer's. In my fridge is a frozen 100' roll of 64mm Portra 160 nc but I have yet to try and roll my own 127 for want of spindles, backing paper.

Doug, the Sawyer's is a joy to use and I can find no fault with it other than the scarcity of readily available 127 b&w films. I've been working off and on, on a bulk 70mm film cutter so that one day I can cut and roll my own 127 for this camera.

My MF cameras:

Mamiya TLRs from the 1958 C to the 1995 C330s (and everything in between). Last count there were 17 of them - i will sell some doubles shortly.
-lenses 55 65 80 105 135 180 250mm (doubles there as well)
-120/220 and single exposure backs

Mamiya Press Standard, Universal and 23 Super
-lenses 90 100 150 [still looking for a 65]
-645 66 67 69 backs, mainly used as 67 or 69.
-matt glass back and extension rings to 1:1

Those are the 'serious' ones. Like most of you, i also have some dust-collecting stuff, like a Lubitel, some 'guess focus' folders and box cameras. My heart lies mostly with the Mamiya stuff though.

Used to have a lot of Minolta XM stuff. Now down to an X700 with 100mm macro. And of course a digital for the family pictures...

I have borrowed a Kiev 60 from a friend.
I like the handling of the waist level finder.

Now thinking about purchasing a cheap
Lubitel ... or Yashica MAT ... or ... :-D

I am a professional photographer of some 20 years... photojournalist, commercial and artist.

I am also an equipemtn junkie of sorts. I do like to take my Hasselblad on vacations with just the 80mm CF.
I never liked TLR or Rangefinders until my affair with a Leica CL (which was sold because the shutter was unreliable even after professional servicing.

I thought about starting a "photo school" for adults that wanted to make fine black and white images so I started buying up TRL's because of the large negative they would produce for my students and for the manual operation.

I fell in love with one of my aquistiions a Ricoh Diacord with 80mm 2.8 lens. This baby's focusing is wonderful (levers on each side of lens standard) great viewfinder and tack sharp (at least to 10x10" enlargements.... Hasselblad easily goes to 25x25" prints).

I now use this Ricoh as my walking around camera that I try to keep with me at all times.
 
I use a Mamiya 6, Mamiya 6MF, and a Horseman SW612 as my main cameras. I have the the 50, 75, and 150 for the Mamiyas and a 55, 90, and 135 for the Horseman. I also have 6x6 and 6x12 backs for my 4x5 Wista flatbed and Olympus microscope camera. I also have a Mamiya C220 which I rarely use. I really like working with the 6x6 and 6x12 formats. I just wish the Horseman back came in a 220 flavor.

I usually go with a two-body kit in the field. I can fit the Horseman and a Mamiya body in a lumbar pack. It is surprising how small and fast those cameras are. While it has limits, the Horseman is a great documentary camera outdoors. Trickier when you move inside - especially since I really don't like tripods.
