working for the boss has it's perks (had to happen sooner or later
) and i was lucky enough to get an early production (should be the same as yours) model of the cameraquest adapter.
got it after work today and so here is my 30 second review of it.
keep in mind that i was able to borrow a novaflex adapter for a few weeks.
first, it is well made and feels substantial, it slips onto the g1 like oil on a hot frying pan, so incredibly smooth that i had to check that it actually made metal to metal contact.
i tried all 4 zm lenses on it and interestingly (is that a word?) they went on smoothly but proportionate to the most used lenses.
that is, the 50/1.5 (my least used lens) went on with some resistance while the 35/2.8 (my most used lens) went on easier.
the turn to put the lens onto the adapter seems very short. i wish i had the novoflex here still because i don't remember the turn being as short -but likely they are the same.
on the adapter there is a small white arrow showing where to attach it to the body (mates with the red dot on the mounting flange of the body).
there is a cover on the inner adapter that protects the gold contacts.
the novoflex was very nice and worked great but this one goes onto the body way smoother, you will have to experience it to really know the difference.
to remove it from the body there is a small round and red dotted protuberance that needs to be pushed down. it works well and is easy to access and push.
i'll report more later on as i get to use it a bit more.

yes you can!
Perfect. Leave the adapter on the camera, and that creates the 3rd ever M-mount digital camera.

Do your lenses focus perfectly to infinity or a bit past infinity as was reported with another adaptor?

If it is like their L-M Adapters, it would be black chrome-plated brass milling, processing with Teflon surface.

pretty close.
i picked up the camera with 35/2.8 and focused on the nearest wall to me and the lens reads 2.5 feet.
the tape measures says 2 feet 7 inches.

thanks for the pics. It does look well made. Barely noticeable on the camera. Is that little flange the 'lens release' (the adapter release is now the one on the camera, right)?

Hmm... With my Novoflex adapter and a 35mm f/1.4 Nokton, I get this:
at .8m actual distance, the Nokton is at its minimum (.7m)
at 2m actual distance, the Nokton scale is at about 1.3m
at 5m actual distance, the Nokton scale is at about 2.2m
at 10m actual distance, the Nokton scale is at about 2.9m
at infinity, the Nokton scale is a tiny bit over 3m

hah your right they look almost identical, I would not be surprised to see they share the same manufacturer or at least share some parts.
