Well, I finally bought a battery for my new GSN. I couldn't find the px625a so I bought the only 6v Taget had--an a544 energizer. I used a spare metal sleeve from a screw-on audio connector to space the battery properly in the holder. Surprisingly the camera seem to work perfectly.
So someone mentioned that, to spare the battery, you should take the setting off auto to b or flash, right? What about the shutter lock; doen't that turn the meter off?
I guess the only other question is, does anyone know anything about the flash automation that is supposedly built in to the Yashica metering? (And is it on the gsn or only the gl?) I understand you can use two flash units together and get auto exposure; does it require the bracket Yashica made to function?

Have you checked Yashica-guy's site at http://www.yashica-guy.com/ ? He is the Yashica expert. He'll also answer questions. At least he answered me a couple of times.
