I'm once again surprised to hear that so many folks have had troubles with their Kiev cameras. While I certainly understand that they are older cameras built with perhaps less than ideal quality control, I have two of them that have never given me any trouble. I don't mean to challenge anyone else's experiences, yet at the same time I wouldn't want someone to be scared off from using these great cameras just because some have had problems. And I do buy the theory that at the price they sell for most can afford to take a chance on one. That's how I ended up getting my first Kiev.
