A while ago I posted shots of my Grafea camera bag and a lot of people showed interest in it. Well last week Grafea provided me with a pre-sale copy of their newest camera bag to review. Very similar to my old one but with a removable padded insert! You can read the full review on my blog:

Grafea PHOTO Camera Bag Review

(here's the usual disclaimer: I don't work for Grafea, I wasn't paid to do the review... I just really love their bags :)

Thanks for the review.
You turned me on to their bags without the built-in insert last year and my only regret is that I didn't wait for this !!
It's a really nice bag but with a less-than-perfect strap - but thank goodness it's easily replaceable.

well like I said in the review, the strap length issue is being resolved, and shouldn't be a problem for average size/weight people.. I'm just on the large/tall end of both spectrums and I'm REALLY hard on my bags so most people probably won't have an issue with it wearing out.

Figures this gets posted right after I finally tell my parents to buy me a lens I don't need just so they can get me something for Christmas.
That bag is gorgeous!
Good thing my birthday is next month ;)

I hadn't visited it before, but I really like your site/blog. Tons of great information and nice work as well!

Nice review! It almost swayed me to abandon my ideas of purchasing a Billingham as a replacement for my aging Domke. Almost.

hey, nice review and I like the bag. is it very heavy? i had a top grain leather satchel a few years ago and stopped using it because i felt like i was dragging a cow carcass around town with me.

I got this for birthday (thank you mom, dad, sisters, love ya!) and want to chip in:

The bag is extremely well built; my father, totally uninterested in my dealings otherwise, said: thats a good bag.
I agree and expect to still have it 50 years from now.

The main reason for wanting this particular bag (except for it's stunning looks) is the inner measurements. This particular bag will fit a standard size IKEA lunchbox, which makes it perfect for commuting to work.

Swedish standard

It's a bit on the heavy side for long walks if one fills it up to the brim, but quite manageable for travel. I had 3 bodies (M3, OM1, Nex3), 5 lenses, a flash and some misc. items packed for Christmas with some room to spare.

One downside with this bag is the carrying handle (not the strap), which has a piece of leather poorly fastened with velcro. I'm afraid of loosing this piece any day now, since it keeps falling off.
