After Fuji announced the end of the road for FP-100c I went around searching for a way to use Instax on my Crown Graphic (I was just about to pull the trigger on a fp100c back for the Crown Graphic, so this was just a slight course change). I saw a fabricated back on Flickr and contacted the user inquiring if the had any for sale. Luckily for me he had a second back and he was willing to sell it to me.
Here is a few shots of the back and ground glass adapter:
I'm quickly getting used to the belair back and slowly learning the proper exposure for Instax under various conditions. The sharpness is much better than my Instax Wide results and at least I can mess up the exposure instead of the camera
. Currently it is a slow process as I am focusing with the ground glass, but I'm planning on buying a second set of stops so that I can use the back with the rangefinder as well.
Here is a shot from the setup today:
I'm having great time with the back and I'm really glad there are people out in the world with such skills.

Very cool. Was this from Nate at Option8/polaroidconversions.com?
I'm encouraged to see on his Facebook page that he's working on an alternative Instax Wide/4x5 solution, with a hint that it may be in collaboration with the Rezivot outfit in Taiwan that featured an Instax back in its recent failed Kickstarter campaign. Here's hoping...

I contacted Nate, but at the time he didn't have a graflok option only those listed on his website. The Polaroid 110 options (while really interesting) were outside my budget and I wanted a little more than the lower Polaroid cameras would provide.
Now that I have the back I'm very curious how one of those travelwide cameras would work with it (but that'll have to wait until my funds are replenished).
