I just spotted this on the Guardian website.

It's shot by Graham MacIndoe on cheap P&S cameras and documents his decline into drug addiction. I found it a very moving and telling project on a difficult subject. I felt some pathos for his situation , which I was not expecting. Surely such searching images represent the power of the medium. I thought it worth sharing here

Some powerful images there, thanks for posting it.

I'm just reading the interview now, it's interesting that over time he became more mindful of lighting and composition, that's apparent in the shots.

At first I found it a little distracting, because they felt a little artificial (despite clearly not being), but knowing that he would have approached even those depths with the same eye that he would have done prior to the drugs made it make a lot more sense to me.

The Grauniad (or Guradian) is famed almost equally for its typos and its photography. ALWAYS worth checking. Of course it's the most left-wing of the UK dailies, the political mirror image of the Torygraph (Telegraph).
