Speaking of MF 58mm lenses, I built this 58mm Graflex XL Grandagon, into a 4x5 ultrawide lens, there was nothing wider available for 4x5 (that covered) at the time. A friend welded together a custom Sinar Norma -deeply- recessed board, and also JB welded on a release adapter. Racked out to hyperfocal infinity it -just- covered all four corners. Actually I got the idea from Steve Simmons in a View Camera article. I was shooting a lot of Architecture for money at the time.
