Found a Graflex Graphic 35 at a local pawn shop -- excellent condition and the leaf shutter seems to be operating correctly. Think they were made in 1957 and '58 -- Graflex's last gasp attempt to stay in business. Has a innovative (but irritating) focusing system with buttons on either side of the lens.

I'm picking this one up tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with the model? I have heard it has a pretty decent lens.

I have one, but I have not shot any film in it yet. I think I'll load some Tri-X in it and go shoot . It has an odd push-pull type of focus system. Also an odd shutter release on the lens barrel. Heavy and seems built like a tank.

Which lens does yours have?

I do not think the Graphic 35 was Graphlex last attempt to stay alive. The Graphlex XL modular press camera, was in production for many more years., as well as Graphlex electronic flash units. I think this may have been Graphlex last attempt at a consumer camera. Also, in the 1960's Graphlex made a rather up-to-date slot-loading 16mm sound projector.
