Mr. K likes to offer different body colors from time to time.
The Gray R2A and R3A bodies are now discontinued and sold out at the factory, but still in stock at CameraQuest.
Personally I like the unusual looking gray bodies
more than the more popular black bodies -- which stay in production.

i like the gray bodies but i think that both the silver and the black lenses look odd on them.
that being said maybe this is a sign to get that r3a body now.

Waking this thread after a while. I would like to ask - were there any significant updates on the R3A/R2A since the grey versions? Frankly speaking I quite like the look, so I would like to ask about the possible differences ...
