A rare chance to stop down the Pentax SMC 28/2.8 on the NEX-3. On the walk to the shops this morning, I noticed a Edward Hopper quality to the light, so I hung around a bit and this guy duly obliged.
Thanks, I removed the second one as it was distracting.
I took a lot of shots but this one was the best, with the guy in the window to add some pathos 😉 He was watching me intently, so I just waited until he got bored.
The 28/2 renders a muddy, paint-like quality in colour (even on film) which is rubbish for most things but it suits the light on the Bath stone in this case.
