Great Photography Documentary to see...

Rent from iTunes. I just watched in HD through Apple TV on the big screen...

"Last Days of the Arctic" by Ragmar Axelsson.

He's Icelandic, and shoots long-term personal projects as well as shoots daily news. Film and digital...the whole film, he's either got an M6, Mamiya 7, or 5DmkII around his neck.

Very cool. Check his site too... Rax

Excellent documentary BW photography, honourable mention in Leitz Oskar Barnack Award in 2001.

The iTunes rental was the best $3.99 I've spent in a while on a photography-related title.

It´s a great documentary, his books are also very nice.
He´s suppose to give a workshop here in Norway sometimes this autumn, if so, I´ll try to joint.
