I was there in Vietnam, combat in 1972. It changed my life.

The U.S. should not have ever been there.

Very poor country from income standpoint. Even today in 2020:
Facts About Living in Vietnam:
“Average Local Salary: The average monthly salary of a worker in Vietnam is about $148 per month; those in high paying jobs bring home around $500 per month.Feb 5, 2020”

The only good I got from it, after getting back, is a friend I met in the military lined me up on a blind date. We are celebrating our 43rd anniversary this year. My friend is fighting cancer from agent orange exposure.

I haven’t looked at the photos I made for over 40 years.
