All the gear no idea
Well the green FED 2 pre-series turned up today , Can't decide if its been painted or not and trying to get the paint to flake off has failed miserably but I would say probably a paint job .
For a camera this age its very,very clean , there's not even man fat ingrained in the wind on or rewind knobs , the wind on gears are brass coloured ,not the usual black grunge encrusted things I'm used to seeing and the shutter sounds fantastic with a nice hiss , shick rather than the clack you get with some . RF is nice and contrasty with a sharply defined square patch and appears to be spot on , going to put a roll of film through it and see if it goes as good as it looks .
