It is not unusual for Diafine to start looking like a lab experiment gone terribly wrong... and it is fine.
When the chunks start to congobulate (I made that word up 🙂 ), I sometimes strain it through a filter, sometimes not... it has never seemed to bother the film, only the user.
i have been using diafine but having a hard time with the little or no agitation rule - so today while it was in solution a...i vacuumed the living room. and while it was in solution b...i vacuumed the hallway & bathroom.
interestingly, my negs seem to have way more meat to them then previous attempts.
