I've had one of the Paulsen grips (Photoequip) since 2006 which I covered in leather and really like. It never comes off the camera. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so a grip is essential for me. 🙂

Both FM-Grips linked to Eb*y would require some metallurgical amputation / filing. The base plates are longer than the one offered by Eric Paulsen (Photoequip). If your mounting it for an Epson R-D1 series body, then the plates would need to be cut shorter to allow the battery door to swing open.
