I love my Ps and I respect my F1s. F1 is/was the absolutely most perfect 100% viewfinder ever, Vs the film. Ps are quite accurate with 50 and presumably 100 (don't know about that), but they're NFG for 35mm framelines if you want to be accurate.

HOWEVER, the awesome perfection of the F1 viewfinder is only something to be appreciated intellectually.

If, by contrast, you want the ULTIMATE orgiastic viewing experience (8X10 view cameras aside), you need a Leica VIOOH 35mm finder. I happen to have one :) Very precise, ultra fast to align visually. Brilliant.

I discovered today that with two thicknesses of film as a wedge, Leica and Canon finders could be made secure in loosie-goosie Canon accessory shoes. Same would probably apply to the misbegotten CV II meter if I owned one.
