Went down to Crick Camera here in KC and picked up a silver OM-D E-M5 with 12-50 kit lens. Happy as can be. Thanks for all the advice.
Now the lens sickness can start!

Ride, dive, shoot.
Congrats on the new puppy, and be careful with the lens sickness.
Oh try the 45/1.8.

Congrats!! Best of luck. I think I will go with the silver body too. I picked up a 45 1.8 and a Panny 14 2.5 (I have an E-P1) but can't wait to try them on an OMD
Have fun

The best camera is one that still works!
Congrats from another very happy OMD user. I'm currently waiting for an adapter to use all my OM Zuiko glass on mine and I have another lens in the pipeline that I shouldn't have bought but did after reading about it. I'll have an f 0.95 in a week or so hopefully ... and I didn't spend ten grand like those poor Leica sods have to!
The Panny Leica 25mm f1.4 I got from Sug blows me away. It's sharp wide open, has zero distortion from what I can see and looks perfect on the camera size wise and provides an equivalent 50mm field of view. For an habitual 50mm shooter like me that lens is absolute nirvana on the OMD!

I agree Keith that the Panasonic Leica 25 is spectacular. Hadn't left my E-M5 since I got it. But I did just get the Panasonic mft m-mount adapter so now I'm starting to have a little fun with my various m-mount lenses. Should be fun learning what works well (if for no other reason than for the pure "play" factor).

Keep up apprised at how that goes please. Definitely have playing with Leica M glass on my wish-list in the future.

One followed me back from the store a couple of days ago, too! It seems to be happening to a lot of folks these days.
I've got the Sigma 19 and 30 instead of the kit lens, and I will soon be getting the M-m43 adapter. Then the glories of manual focus can begin! I can't wait to see what the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar will produce on the OM-D.
