Guess what?

I had shown my father my Canon for the first time.

His first reaction: Is it my f/1.2?

I said: No, is a f/0.95, you had a f/1.2? Where is it?

Dad: Should be at grandma's...

I doubt that we will ever find it, but is a nice surprise, my father was into Canon RF when he was young. As far as I remember, he always used a Hasselblad 500CM.

So I guess the GAS run in the family blood... :D

Well, he shoots much better (and more) than me, but he had a 30 years head start... :D :D :D

Nan..

Granny still had some dad's 120 works hanging in her apartment...

You just bring out another question, I have no memory of him shooting me, my sister or my mother all these years, but mum still had some photo of me when I was a baby...

But I still remember he had taken us and met up with friends (and their familys) on sunday on some rural location and shot lotuses. First time I ever look into one of his camera.

I think I was 4 or 5? Sis wasn't born yet. I remember that time so well, because of his friend's son, he had given me a pair of plastic sun-glasses...

This tread brings out memories...

So did Grandma get a Visit out of this!

That would be a nice addition for the thread; some shots at Grandma's with your 50mm F0.95 and MAYbe your Dad using the F1.2. And Grandma will love it!
