BEAUTIFUL !

Then my friends Jenni and Rich, since nothing important and bussiness as usual, I propose to both of you to delete by your own will the postings from #226 until 233 .

Bussiness as usual no ? Then kindly consider my proposal, and I will delete this posting too.

Cheers to both of your four having re-discovered each other !

Ruben

We agree on something. Group hug :)

On a more serious note - I may not agree with Jenni on a lot of topics ($3 million thread, etc) BUT I will always respect her opinions - regardless of her sex.

Hi Rich,
You have no idea how much I do appreciate the abovequoted posting. It fits a true gentleman.

Would you like to take the initiative to delete your postings between #226 until 233, so that Jenni will follow suit ?

Sincerely,
Ruben

"gender" would be the more politically correct term, Rich. ;)

Thanks. Not being a native English speaker I sometimes do find myself in situations where I pick words and expressions that are just a little bit 'off' from what I aimed for.

Is the use of 'sex' in that sentence completely inaccurate?

you have made a mountain out of a mole hill...

Perhaps you are right in that there is no NEED to delete. But upon the ongoing row of reconciliation between Rich and Jenni, perhaps there is a mutual WILL to, on behalf of the thread.

no. it is acceptable. maybe a little "clinical," but within the context, it was fine.

if you're going to delete posts, you may want to go all the way back to #197. My reading of this thread shows the source of discord stemming from the generalization made there.

"wee Scotish bimbo"!

Jee, my signature is jsut much too serious! I'm going to have to come up with something better.

delete! delete! delete!

delete! delete! delete!

I find use of the word "bimbo" to be offensive and demand that it be deleted! ;)

Hey folks!

Another women here! First real quick...don't see what all the hubub is about...I saw several of the posts in question...did not see anthing that should be a problem. I don't agree with all the things that have been said but , as my mother would say...thats why there is chocolate, vanilla and strawberry! So to move on...

I found RFF because of a recent interest in exploring street photography (which seems to requently be done with RF cameras). I saw the luminous landscape website video interview with John Brownlow about Street Photography. Then I started web surfing and found Rich S's web site (Batteries Not Included: loved the site btw). From there I found RFF. Simple heh?

Now I am waiting for a Bessa L and lens through the mail...not a RF I realize but I am looking forward to getting back into B&W stuff...Yep..Been doing digital a while but started with a Canon AE-1 SLR (still a great camera IMHO)...

thats about it!

See you on the forum!
Nancy
