GW690 and DK-17

I received a GW690ii recently, missing the eye piece. I’m considering replacing it though it doesn’t seem necessary. Does anyone have experience with the 1.2x magnifier DK-17M on this camera? Looks like it brings the magnification up to .9x, which may be nice. Any opinions?

I have the GW690III
I discovered that it takes the Nikon diopter.
And unfortunately I lost the original lens.

Hmm I never thought about putting the DK17 on my GW690iii.
I’ll try it tonite but I don’t think it needs it and I’m pretty sure you wont be able
to see the full frame at a glance.

But now I’m curious!

Ok the DK17 does not fit on my GW690III. It is too big.

I did hold it up against the VF and looked through it. It spoils the view as you cannot see the whole VF at once. The VF on the GWs are very nice and don't need it.

Thank you for taking the time to check. I'm not much a Nikon user, but I heard the nikon eye pieces fit the GW690 series. But I'm guessing the DK is newer / different somehow.
