Thanks. It's a bit "jolting" as my mind hasn't blocked out the black-out. I have the M module (only) and was hoping the other modules didn't have the black-out.

I use standard or neutral on all my cameras and I have a preset I created in Aperture I use to punch things up.. I grew up shooting slide films, so I tend to like more contrast or punch then most and panatomic x, plus x and tri-x.. Print on mainly contrast 4 and 5 paper back then.
Overall iq is not bad for this lens, I tend to like the 12-32 pancake zoom that I use on my m43 gx7 better than this lens and the Nikon 24-85f2.8-4 ff better in terms of comparisons to other zoom lenses in this zoom range.
Overall, it is good enough for me.. Since owning the gxr, the last a16 module has been on my hit list forever.. It was a matter of waiting for the price to get to a point where I was ok w/ it.

That lens is perfect for party situations. Took it to a wedding reception and came back with great photos, even with only the built-in flash.

Have never used the A16 or the GXR myself but it seems to be a great module aside from the bulkiness which have held me off.
Anyway, for the A16-module alone, there is 4 available at a noticeably better price, though without box, but still with a one year Japanese warranty.
