I found a Richo GXR M unit at www.thecamerastore.com. Unfortunately, they only sell online and only to Canadians. Please call customer service, apparently the unit got misplaced, so they will have to add it on their online store for you. It's only $275!

You know, I just saw one on ebay, which was advertised as new & in original packaging, for $421.

If you already are into M-mount lenses, the GXR-M is a really great thing, and I don't think an extra hundred dollars or so should deter you. It's a lot less than M lenses cost--even old moldy ones--and this way you can have an extra lens mounted on a body, ready to shoot. I might add that in some ways the GXR-M is a very modern machine with some nice features. Some are M-lens-specific, like the lens corrections you can put in and the special sensor. Others are modern things like scene modes you can play with.

When I use my GXR-M with its CV, Leica or FSU lenses, I wonder why people pay all that money for an M9 or M. It's a joy to use and is very compact. I have two GXR bodies and one is used for M lenses and the other for Ricoh autofocus lenses. Talk about the best of both worlds!...TW

Myself, I'm in the market for the A12 50mm or 28mm module. I already own the A12M and the S10, but I find I use an equivalent 50mm a lot anyhow, and can use a closer focus distance and macro.

Wow, that's such a good deal. I would love to pick one of these up, but I don't live in Canada, and I JUST bought a Ricoh GR and an expensive 6x7 lens...I see GXR systems for sale so rarely, I hope I'll be able to pick up a body for close to $100 in the near future, and lenses for a couple hundred each.

I got a brand new P10 kit with body from CameraStore for $130 on "Boxing week" after xmas.
Cant beat that for any P&S camera

The 28, 50 and Leica modules are all cheaper than ebay!

I just bought a refurb body and the M module from the Camera Store.
Hopefully the DR Cron fits on it as i can use this lens on the M8.
Hurry up Canada Post!
