Any recommended third party batteries for the GXR ?
Original battery just charging for the first time now in the charger, but a spare is seeming very attractive if it takes five hours to charge one..
Sources in Europe preferred, if possible. Thanks

The very same battery as the one used in Fujifilm X100, plenty of third party batteries available.

Yeah, I seen that. All third party batteries not created equal though, so any experiences with specific off brand versions of this battery, would be very welcome

I have always used wasabi from amazon on my gxr and x100. That being said, I have noticed some variation in charge capacity which is much different then the OEM ones.

Thanks Gary, will look into those.
Re: the aforementioned 5 hours to charge a battery from flat, I guess this was a typo in the manual, as mine was done in two hours, similar to all my other digital cameras.

I've tried the wasabi and found it incomparable to the Ricoh db-90, very short life.
