H/U: 100mm on *bay

This seller had the whole kit on *bay as a single auction last week. Failed to meet reserve at £750. I think they might be being a bit optimistic on prices, although 100mm lenses are very hard to come by. I've been looking for one for a while but I can't justify (or afford) over £400 at the moment. :(

Another RF645 + 65mm lens set went for £475 this afternoon. Admittedly the seller stated it was bought in January and the receipt and warranty would be passed onto the buyer but ..... There's another on (UK again) at £360 with a few hours to go, be interested to see what it goes for .... not that I've any intention of selling mine.

The lens sold for £610, the flash for £131 and the RF645 with 65 for £620 - £1361 for a kit that could have been bought for £750

How can this happen?

I knew I should have bought it - I could have sold the camera and effectively got the 100mm and flash for £130.

Had you noticed the same buyer (a newbie) won the 100mm lens and the camera set. Being somewhat cynical when it comes to ebay, wish I could be a fly on the wall as I wonder if the buyer will actually pay or whether the second placed bidders gets a second chance offer?????

Another interesting note about the camera set bidders - they're both overseas bidders. Are these items rare in Norway and France??

I bid just for kicks. I mean, I would certainly pay the price for it, but I know I don't stand a chance of winning it at my max bid.
