My wife and I moved recently, we are currently in limbo awaiting the closing of a new home. I am without my wonderful darkroom and have been forced to develop in the tub like I did when I first began years ago.
This has been a frustration.
Yesterday I ran three rolls through the tank and after development came out with negatives like I have never seen before. Ruined, filled with white lines. After googling I decided that this may be temperature reticulation. It was tri-x, yet, I've heard that it can take some drastic temperature changes to take this affect. So I'm scratching my head, wondering if it is in fact temp reticulation. I try to keep my temps all on the same level but there are times when my wife runs the washing machine and the temps may regulate differently but it never anything terribly extreme. Although, yesterday the bathtub got pretty hot for a moment (the hot knob spun to fast and got hot too quickly into the tank, which I dumped out immediately) and I had to fix the temp. That's the only point I could figure the issue. I had made a new batch of ilfo stop and a fresh batch of fixer which both were at about the correct temp.
Can anyone give a little assistance? LUCKILY these rolls were just test rolls from a new camera and testing some new lenses. My underlying fear is that this could happen again if it is not temperature related. The attached photos are low res but the lines are white, not black like I have seen on examples of reticulation. ALSO, is there a way to fix this? I think not right?

The first shot with the dog looks ok (though the highlights are a bit blown), but the second and third shots definitely look like reticulation to me.

I think you've actually got reticulation, and reading this: "the bathtub got pretty hot for a moment (the hot knob spun to fast and got hot too quickly into the tank" it's not surprising. Little harm done, as a test roll for the camera this will do just fine, you can still inspect for light leaks, spacing, correct exposure; although I wouldn't judge lenses by these results...

Somehow, the two photos of my mother were salvaged, this one needed just a little spot removal in lightroom. The lens test was a 1936 Summar, I wanted to see how the haze was going to affect the photos. Not bad for the portrait.

At least you’re still processing your own. I’ve got a backlog of a year. Oh well, good intentions and all that.
I agree with the reticulation diagnosis... temperature shock! Other aspects of the test, as suggested, would be useful nonetheless.
