Half frame

Hi just got my hands on a Pen EEs. What to expect? I really like the feeling of the camera. It´s quite heavy and the feeling is solid in a way. The selenium meter seems to work and there is even an original small Olympus UV filter attached to the lens. How does an ordinary lab react to half frame exposed films if I order prints? Should I just pay for processing of the film and scan the negs for prints by myself?

Labs can cut up 36mm frames badly think of the fun they can have with your 18mm... Dust and emulsion damage will annoy even more.

Buy a 2nd user dev tank, and take up B&W, Delta 100 Rodinal 1:100.

But a 2nd user bulk loader...

Congrats, Peot!

I have the EE-2, as for development, I ask the minilab just to develop it, then I can scan the negative per frame, and crop'em in Picasa.

Sometimes I deliberately shoot in pairs to create diptych-style images 🙂
