I thought I would post some quick examples of HHHR mode on the Panasonic G9 II with the Panasonic Leica 12-60mm lens. I am quite impressed. All these were taken at ISO 1600 in fairly dim window lighting (the weather here is terrible as usual). These are slight crops from the 100 megapixel files and converted from raw in Lightroom. There is a pleasant grain, but the pictures are quite sharp despite the slow shutter speeds. No noise reduction or extra sharpening has been applied.

You digital guys are killing me! I see constantly increasing quality and performance (such as you've achieved here), and I feel more and more like a stubborn old dinosaur with my film cameras. Not that I'm about to switch, mind you! But...

I have a few older analogue cameras loaded up with film, but I find as time passes less and less inclination to use them. I think with me it is just nostalgia now to run a roll of Ilford through one of them.

I have my old film cameras that I like to use, I use them because I enjoy using them.
I have my modern digital cameras that I like to use, I use them because I enjoy using them AND because they return even better results, more easily.

I can be as much of a dinosaur and as much of a space man as I feel like at any given moment. :)
